We contribute actively to the UN SDGs
The UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the framework for the global effort within sustainable development. The goals recognise that social, economic, and environmental development are intrinsically linked and that it requires a common, global effort to achieve lasting results. Our Activities
Glenfield Invicta has a long and proud history of innovation and producing high quality valves and penstocks designed for use in the water industry. Since 1852 our products have been used in the UK and across the world, many are still in operation after several decades. When it comes to the environment, we share a common goal with the AVK Group and are committed to protecting vital resources and the environment.

Traditionally, we have had a strong focus on innovation and development of new and optimised products of high quality and with a long lifetime and recyclability. In addition, we continuously focus on optimising our processes and production via long-term investments for the benefit of the company, our employees, customers and the environment. 

Our Purpose
The AVK Group's purpose is to develop, manufacture and market products of high quality and with a long lifetime. Our products are parts of vital infrastructure including water supply, wastewater treatment and energy supply as well as a variety of other industrial applications that all together contribute to sustainable development, the health of people and a better environment.

Water in the world – local and global challenges
Water is the basis for all life, and with the booklet "Water in the World" we want to create awareness about the huge impact that water has on human health and quality of life, the world's energy consumption and climate impacts, as well as how economy is affected by water loss and untreated wastewater. In other words, those major issues that have led to e.g. the UN sustainable development goal 6 to ensure access to water and sanitation for all.
