Glenfield Invicta selected to be part of Southern Water’s £25m Bewl Water Project 01-12-2023
We’re proud to be part of the significant Bewl Water project. Following a scheduled S10 inspection organised by Southern Water where a key recommendation was to improve the drawdown capacity of the reservoir.
To meet this drawdown requirement, we are supplying 3 x DN1600/1400 Series 856 Submerged Discharge Valves which will be hydraulically actuated as well as a number of other valves. To give you some idea of the scale of the operation each submerged discharge valve assembly will weigh around 18 tonnes!
